I’m loving the free multiplayer demo of ghosts this weekend. Feels just as good as MW2 to me. I have BF4 on my PS4 but I’m terrible at it so dont enjoy the mulitplayer at all, where as I’ve always had a knack for cod. Is it worth forking out and getting the full game? £44 with DLC on the store is tempting.
Regardless, I absolutely love Ghosts and like you think the MP style is right up there almost with MW2 (apart from the map layouts not being as good). I don’t have the DLC so can’t comment on that, but I’ve seen the game online for ~£20, so if that £44 includes the season pass, then I’d definitely say it’s worth it as the season pass is £35 on its own (although I’m finding the content more than enough without it).
If, like you say you have a knack for COD and can see yourself playing it a fair bit, then I can’t really find a reason to suggest you not getting it, the campaign is solid and a lot of people love Extinction too, so there’s plenty to get out of it other than the MP.
I’m pretty much sold on it. Unfortunately the one on the PSN store for £44 is just the game and the first DLC pack. I’ll have a look around for the lowest price.
Hoping to trade in BF4 so I can pick up Watch Dogs a little cheaper.
It’s strange as I much preferred BF3 to MW3, but this time around I’m just left frustrated. BF4 is unbalanced and has far too many connection issues, and the handful of games I’ve played on Ghosts have excited more than all mine on BF4.
