See the Lights!

So is it just me, or does it get really annoying after a while, seeing the blue / green / WHY light on the DS4 bounce around on the flat screen TV?

I thought it’d be one of those things that you see without seeing – like Channel5 – but, nope. It’s still there, annoying the crap out of me.

I don’t want to mask it off – Why should I? – but come on, Sony. If you haven’t got a camera, why not give us the option of turning the damn thing off?

Or is it just me?

Weird must be the way the DS4 is facing the TV.

I think it’s because I keep the lights dim in the living room when playing, so the DS4 becomes one of the only light sources – therefore you’d expect some ‘bounce back / halo’, but I’m talking about seeing the reflection of the actual DS4 and as long as you’re sat in direct line of sight to a flat-panel telly, in a gloomy room, you’re going to see it.

‘Playing HD video games in a dimly-lit room’? Sounds like a lot of us…

I predict, this won’t be the last we hear of this.

I’m fortunate enough to have my TV hung on the wall so I don’t get this effect. I’d imagine it’s a little irritating though. One of those things like the ticking of the clock, once you’ve heard it, you can’t stop hearing it!

As i’ve said in a previous post it doesn’t bother me I don’t even notice it unless the screen is pitch black or if I’m actually looking for it and I’m sat quite close to the TV,and I also game in a dimly lit pit 80% of the time I actually find it quite useful for finding and reading things in the dark lol,but yeah I guess it wouldn’t hurt to have the option to turn it off but as I say it’s not really a issue for me.
