Doesn’t sound nice, get well soon! We’ve had vomiting bugs going around at work, I got away with a mild puking and some stomach pains instead of the full apocalyptic evacuation. I always forget about the seasonal sickness, I guess it’s that time of year.27/11/14 at 08:36 #234030
It’s the season to be pukey
One of the lights in the kitchen also blew a fuse. So in my pijamas and sweating from fever I had to get out the damned lightbulb. There was a burned smell in the kithen and I was ala bit afraid. Then the switch broke and it was turnin on by itself. And even without a lightbulb it kept blowing the fuse, again and again. So I had to put my sister next to me with her iPhone flashlight and for the first time ever I dismantled a light switch.
2 days later an electrician came and solved the mistery.27/11/14 at 09:36 #234031
Hate vomiting bugs. Luckily haven’t picked one up yet although there seems to be something going around the office. For me though a vomiting bug would be a much better proposition that what I have. On saturday I will have had a constant headache/migraine for three weeks. Taking the absolute piss now. When it’s a headache I can manage but when it drops back to migraine status it just wreaks havoc. Doctors appointment and blood test later and they’re no closer to an answer which is driving me mad. Have another appointment tomorrow and I’m just hoping they send me for a head scan or something.27/11/14 at 12:25 #234035
See a neurologist. And if that doesn’t work out there are special neurologists trained in headaches. It can be a cluster migraine or maybe it can be neck muscle related. Lots of possibilities.27/11/14 at 13:21 #234054
I’m looking forward to saying “woot canawl” and dribbling everywhere because I can’t feel half my face after I have my root canal next week…27/11/14 at 18:32 #234063
Well I had a stomach bug at work last Tuesday and it took a week although, I did drink a wee bit heavy on Tuesday night after work. Then got the flu the next day. Been slightly ill while playing Unity and Unit 13 until Saturday, decided to get drunk. It was a very bad idea as my throat felt like it was shut. I couldn’t talk or even eat on Sunday. Took some cough syrup, herbal tea and vitamins now getting better man 2 weeks of misery that. Thankfully Christmas is coming up soon to face the misery again on Boxing Day xD heh07/01/15 at 13:48 #236240
Today I got really absorbed by this AMA on Reddit. I fucking love science posted an article about a man with two fully functioning penises. It was one the most amazing things I read. I hope my post doesn’t get banned. I can post the reddit if you want. It was so funny, people came up with all kinds of funny questions (some just kid-level, other’s real life problems ). It was just….wow, mindblowing.07/01/15 at 21:28 #236269
that IFLS article is crazy… Still can’t get my head round what it would be like….08/01/15 at 08:39 #236278
Wowzer, one up the tum and one up the the bum certainly clarifies Sharing Streaming and Options. Multitool at work! :P08/01/15 at 12:30 #236297
The best part was the reddit, so many crazy questions. Some of them I laughed out loud. I read all of the OP’s anwsers, like a curious little kid. Stuff like:
– When you’re walking does your ‘thing’ go left or right ?
– How did the ‘sex talk’ with your parents go ? Something like this : Son, this is the world, the trees, the hills, the cars, the birds. You have to go out there and make something of yourself. By the way, anything light touches is your kingdom.31/01/15 at 19:54 #237636
Absolute fucking bollock of a day here, my gaming TV’s HDMI’S gubbings went on holiday and will not display anything connected through said constitution…sheesh f$%^&£$” and more.
I’ll be using a spare TV for the Monday GT6 meet which will sit on the floor as it’s too big to fit into the custom space made for the current TV. Grrrrrrrrr!!!!31/01/15 at 22:38 #237637
Managed to get an awesome deal (£150 off) on a decent soundbase today. Can’t believe the difference it makes to the TV and particularly gaming. Sorry neighbors :(01/02/15 at 12:12 #237639
@Freeze That’s annoying if just one small part of the TV is playing up. The TV back at home used to have a few issues with HDMI when my Mum was using the 360 and I didn’t have the time to check it out so I swapped out the cables and used a composite YPbPr cable (still gives HD connection) which bypassed the problem. If your TV has that input, then it may be worth trying it out purely to try and get more life out of it for some use or another in the future.01/02/15 at 18:33 #237650
@Avenger Cheers dude, sound advice and tips although I had to take the drastic step of purchasing a new HDTV which was reasonably priced fair play to Argos :P
I used the old TV for all of my consoles and PC connectivity but every input apart from Scart seemed to have burn’t out, tried the spare TV on the floor which was a deffo no-no so went shopping at the local Argos….everything in unison now with new set up ;)
Some weekends are wanky expensive…that’s life :o16/05/15 at 01:22 #244673
Hi everyone. I’ve had a drink, just so you know! Also, I’ve had many months off TSA, ish, back now! I think. Probably.
It’s funny having a break from something you like, possibly love, but debate your involvement with, internally. Since my wife and I went on honeymoon last September I’ve checked TSA most days, at least four or five times a week, but barely posted. Not her fault at all, other stuff. I’ve wondered whether I should grow up and out of computer games. Computer games, who calls them that anymore? I’ve not gotten around to involving myself on Twitter, maybe someone can help me (and anyone else as shit at Twitter as me) with how to best get involved? Although I’d like to know how to use it I’m not too fussed really. Maybe it’s because I’m turning into an old fart. Old fart? Who calls them that anymore? Growing up is weird.
I enjoy what I enjoy. I’ve preordered MGSV and Battlefront. I can’t wait for more Star Wars, it may be childish but it’s also a lot of fun and it makes me smile. So, how are you all?
