ParticipantSo on a whim I decided to buy a Vita off of fleabay.
I was hoping to find out from rather lovely bunch of human beings what would your top picks be for games and the such like for it?

ParticipantAssuming you haven’t played some of these on PS3/4 as they’re cross-buy:
Wipeout 2048 (both game and soundtrack are ace)
Motorstorm RC
Uncharted Golden Abyss
Uncharted Fight for Fortune (excellent turn-based, strategy Uncharted-themed card game)
Borderlands 2
Gravity Rush (or the PS4 Remaster in a couple of weeks)
Counterspy
Dead Nation
Guacamelee!
Minecraft
The Wolf Among Us
Thomas Was Alone
Grim Fandango
Plants vs ZombiesShould be enough to keep you out of trouble! :p

ParticipantTo add to that:
Killzone Mercanary
Tearaway
LittleBigPlanet
XCOM Enemy Unknown (upcoming release I think)
Luftrausers
Final Horizon
Freedom Wars
Soul Sacrifice (absolutely awesome)
Duke Nukem 3D22/01/16 at 16:08 #260086kjkg
ParticipantI’d add Velocity on to the list along with the NFS game too. That was surprisingly good. Rayman Origins should be cheap and a lot of fun too.
Finally, Escape Plan and Little Deviants are quite enjoyable and do really well to show off the Vita’s different inputs etc.

ParticipantWipeout and zero escape are my two favourite games.

ParticipantSweet! I have Wipeout, Uncharted, Gravity Rush, and Grim Fandango, and few Indie titles from PSN plus so will give them a whirl…
While I wait for a bigger memory card to arrive I’ve been playing LBP Vita (which came in the vita) and I’m rather enjoying it! I gave up on LBP after the first one and I have to say its a lot of fun and it looks awesome.

ParticipantRayman Origins is an excellent shout, it looks bloody beautiful on the tiny screen. I’d also add the brilliant Fez, Child of Light, Bastion, NFS Most wanted and Pixljunk Shooter to the list. If you’re into Metal Gear the HD collection is very good. My essentials are Wipeout, Killzone, Uncharted, Gravity Rush and Tearaway.
GTA V works really well on remote play, especially for dicking about and side missions whilst you’re on the throne :)
And yeah Little Big Planet is really good, it works well on the Vita. I had a nagging feeling it was just a touched-up rehash of LBP2, it all seemed very familiar but I couldn’t be arsed to check at the time. I also found create mode more fun, fiddlier at first but much more satisfying.

ParticipantDefinitely getting tearaway. Since I first played it at and EG Expo I’ve been after a Vita to give it ago….
Played the demo on PS4 but it just didn’t feel right to me…

ParticipantThe stupendous range of PSP games should also see you through. Dissidia, Resistance Retribution, The 3rd Birthday, Puruist Force, MGS Portable Ops, Prinny and Disgaea are some of the best PSP titles out there.
Try out Gunslugs on the Vita if you can. Awesome procedural 2d shooter and dirt cheap too.
