I’m after opinions on what the gaming experience is like on a Windows 10 PC in the living room these days with the Xbox app/service? How is the Xbone controller for getting around menus in games – is support widespread or patchy etc.
PS4 is currently leaving me underwhelmed title wise, I have zero interest in PS Pro, but would like to have a look at a number of Xbone exclusives; many of which are available on PC now anyway so it seems daft to buy an Xbone, especially with Scorpio a year away.
As it happens I have an ITX based PC (i7-4770T, 16GB RAM, 128GB SSD) that I was using as a low power home server for various dev tasks but that has now been replaced with something far beefier so the hardware is sat there doing nothing now. I’m owed some PC equipment anyway so I could easily get a 1070GTX, a more suitable case (Fractal Nano 202 looks pretty sweet) for going under the TV and rejoin the PC master race.
I know multiplayer first person shooters would be out without KB/Mouse (so still PS4/Scorpio for them), but could do titles like modded GTA V, RotTR, Forza Apex/Horizon 3, Quantum Break etc
