Will do mate, thanks for the heads up and grats on your rise to the top of the podium from our early days of watching my Lotus smash it in the online GT5 race meets :P ;)
Absolutely cracking stuff lads, enjoyable watching. Great work Tom, albeit without my participation for work related shizz! ;)
Nice one Del, I just recently started Mad Max so may call in a favour later on if there’s any co-op or multiplayer shenannigans involved with completing the trophy list ;)
@Del I started Dirt Rally not long ago after bagging it in the Jan Sale and I’ve been enjoying the challenge but after getting first place through to and including Elite difficulty in the Rallycross championship, cannot believe the hike in difficulty to Masters. Heck, I’ve gone from top three in all races so far to 12th place lol! Mind you, I have been lazy with the car set ups, having only really altered the transmission ratio’s :P
@youles Wish I had UC4 and R&C yet to play, cracking little pile of shame, good times ahead! ;)
Well done Del, another solid milestone achieved in your quest for world trophy dominance!
Great job with the 7,000’th Youles, satisfying when a plan works ;)
Agreed Ron, I found Ratchet & Clank a delight from start to platinum.
Never a hint of grind even after 3 playthrough’s for me, a highlight of current gen ;)
Indeed Del, with bated anticipation, make it a memorable one ;)
Sounds a bit like a Wii accessory that really is destined for the over exaggerated mid air thrusts that don’t really translate to what might be going on trackwise, although shouting “Honk honk” could bring a touch of realism :P
@hornet On the contrary mate, I have a sneaky suspicion that the Wi-Fi antenna built into the original PS4 console is of inferior build quality and probably made of Christmas turkey foil! Every other gadget or gizmo that I have can connect to the same router/modem set up and boast mega download and upload speeds even when placed right above the said PS4 console.
The new PS4 slim and pro have been awarded newly designed Wi-Fi antenna/receiver hardware that should hopefully solve the problem for me, even at 2.4 GHz….5GHz signal should be turboshaggysnacks!
I was considering going down the 4K route with new telly and PS4 pro added to the shopping cart but after your research and findings have been swayed from that route quick-sharp!
I’m just going to settle for a new slim PS4 in the meantime, mainly for the new 5GHz Wi-Fi mode signal that I know is transmitted by my current router/modem set up as it’s limited 2.4GHz effort that interacts with my current console is frankly…shit!; Also the new DS4 V2 controller included ticks boxes.
I’ve pre-ordered the £310 bundle from Shopto which includes PS4 1TB slim/Fifa 17/extra DS4 V2 controller. Figured I’d sell the sealed Fifa 17 game, upgrade the slim with my current 2TB HDD, install the slim 1TB HDD to my current PS4 and then sell that.
Should all work out quite favourably…2TB slim, 2 x DS4 V2 controller and a detectable Wi-Fi connection all for a snip! :)
Turrican 2, one my all time faves has to be a main contender. There are so many great games from that era and console that a list would confuzzle you so I’ll just keep it sweet and simple with that one choice…for now ;)
Good work Tom, that Rossi one does indeed require skill and patience especially with those Doctor challenges and the Ducati one requires a dislocated mindset to bumble through the mundanity of it all. Needless to say, I got neither plat :P
Nice 200th BBB, an absolute corker of a game that fully deserved to be on your top shelf of platinum trinketry ;)26/06/16 at 08:34 in reply to: Shameless self promotion… your PS4 and XBox One shared videos #269900
Extraordinary skills there Del, I can’t seem to go beyond three or four turns without clipping a wall or falling off the edge of the track. Lap after lap….you are insane dude! ;)
This is why I was peed off when they patched out the wide bits of track destined for donut derby’s :P
I’m pretty sure that the way it works with digitally downloaded games is that each patch released gets secured to the original game therefore rendering any new download of the game an up to date latest version.
I do stand to be corrected if this is not how it works but this is my understanding of how it all fathoms out @:-o
@Youles Welcome back bud ;)
Alert, do not allow updates for TTR world tour to download as they have patched out the wide bits of track that allow you to get those stupid drift challenge high scores….1,000,000 points? really?
I’ve given up on that platinum for this very reason as I stupidly allowed the updates to download.
Donuts! Oh wait…you can’t do donuts in TTR anymore :P
Other than that tidbit, I’ve blasted through the Mech Land Assault DLC for Just Cause 3 which was bloody awesome ;)
