ParticipantVideo, audio and photo storage and playback and 3D blu ray support please, I’m not buying a ps4 until it can replace my lovely ps3.

ParticipantI’d be up for a Wipeout meet too!

ParticipantI think a bit of retailer loyalty is a good thing, nothing wrong with paying a bit more to get a reliable service from a company you like. I like Amazon because they’ve treated me brilliantly with a couple of faulty gadgets I wanted to get repaired. I also steer clear of Zavvi now, also Shopto and Play, after just one bad experience per company. It’s good to be fussy, keeps standards up!

Participant@DeathAvenger, is Farming Simulator worth 3 quid? I’m sorely tempted, oooh arrr.

ParticipantBy far the cheapest way I’ve seen of importing a new PS Vita 2000 (brilliant by the way, very slim, lovely wee beast). Probably worth treating the seller with caution since they’re new but the upside is Amazon who are, in my experience, ridiculously helpful when things go wrong….
Has anyone else imported a slimfasted Vita yet?

Participant@Youles, definitely a plat worth going for! It doesn’t take too long and its great fun, the only problem with it is coop matchmaking which almost spoilt things for me. If you guys can blitz through it in 2 or 3 hours together you’ll be avoiding the only shit thing about the game :)

ParticipantThanks mate! I’ve not unlocked Sol yet but I will stick at it when i do. It’s my second time playing the game, on a new Vita, weirdly my multiplayer progress has been restored so I guess that’s kept server side, back to square one on the campaign but I’m enjoying blitzing through it smashing records as I go :)

Participant@air, I feel your pain, at least we don’t have to get an elite pass on those events. About zones, have you got any tips for the Mach 1.5 trophy? I’m so useless at zones, I get to Mach 1 with 70-80% health but then quickly lose it whatever track I’m on :(

ParticipantLast night I got the Sleeping Dogs platinum, woohoo! I feel like Jackie Chan after all that plat standard kung fu, although now not a very special Jackie Chan as I’ve just found out it was an easy platinum. Ah well, a bird in the eye is worth a bad lifetime of good luck, back to daydreaming about becoming a grand master at Wipeout HD.

ParticipantGreat to hear Whitmarsh is being replaced, he was a vapid prat. They could do much worse than Brawn, probably no better, I can’t believe Ferrari don’t want him! He’s a hero. And good news about the branding, cant remember ever seeing a multiplatform game with a single platform ad in it before, that’ll be interesting.

ParticipantI’ve just finished Spyro The Dragon, very refreshing to play a simple game for fun without worrying about trophies! Now though I’m diving back into Sleeping Dogs and going for the platinum. This morning before work I spent half an hour driving around all the clothes stores trying to find the one niggly shirt or watch I missed… Then realised I hadn’t missed anything and got the bloody fashion victim trophy in December :P

ParticipantGood news though, most blu rays are multi region. The player in your UK PS4 is probably region B but if you check the back of any blu ray boxes you might see this three hexagons with an A, B and C in them, which means its a multi region disc. I’ve imported a couple, using HD Movie Source to check they’re not just one region releases, so far the only discs I’ve found with one region have been BBC series which are region B anyway. If you’re going to America and buying some over there just check the back of the boxes for the three letters, if you just see an A in one hexagon that’ll be a US only disc.

ParticipantReally? I’m definitely keeping that to myself! Thanks again for the tip.

ParticipantAh nice glad yours is working! I think the booster automatically logs in to the router and shares the same ssid and password. Yeah I got a new hub instead of the booster, it works brilliantly and the signal is so much stronger than the old one so I’m a happy bunny! I’m not gonna tell Sky they cocked up in case I’m getting a good deal :)
ron_mcphatty
ParticipantCron, has yours arrived yet? Mine just did and they’ve sent a brand new router/hub instead of the booster. Idiots. Still, might as well hook it up just in case it works any better than the old one.
