Ghost of Tsushima is an open-world action adventure published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and developed by Sucker Punch Productions.
Set during the Mongol invasion of Japan, all that stands between the Khan’s war host and the mainland is the idyllic island of Tsushima. You play as Jin, heir to the great Sakai clan – a warrior who is left for dead only to rise again as the Ghost.
On a quest for revenge, Jin seeks to drive back the Mongol horde. However, the more invaders he kills, the further he strays from the samurai code of honour.
Ghost of Tsushima boasts a gorgeous natural open world begging to be explored. As the Ghost, you will amass a growing number of weapons to beguile and confuse your enemies, cutting them down in cinematic bouts of combat gameplay.
Beyond the campaign, Ghost of Tsushima features an online multiplayer component. Legends allows you to team up or against other players as you wage war against the demonic Oni, collecting loot and unlocking power class skills as you play.
Originally released on the PlayStation 4 in 2020, Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut launched a year later. Not only did this bring a revised version of the game to PS5, it also introduced the Iki Island DLC expansion.
