Whilst I’m of the opinion that these new screens don’t really show the PS3 in its best light, I’m a big old biased Rings fan, so if Warner Bros can at least create some of the magic of the legendary books (and, you know, the films) in this game then I’m in.
The game, dubbed Aragorn’s Quest, naturally centres on the adventures of said Ranger, we’re told players will be able to relive the hero’s “most valiant battles” equipped with a sword, shield, bow and spear. Nifty. There’s also some horseback sections, and a co-op mode featuring Gandalf.
Other characters confirmed include Gimli and Legolas, the latter looking quite similar indeed to his movie actor.
Aragorn’s Quest on the PS3 will support Move – we’ll see how this one pans out.

EA should just utilise their movie licence (if they still have it) Tie in all 3 films in one game and hire Rocksteady (Arkhum Asylum) to provide the combat mechanics for the game. I’d buy that for sure.

Ignoring the graphics look a bit “oh good god” what about if the game itself is wonderful fun. With great acting, fluid animation, superb fight scenes. Graphics are just one ingredient to a great game. This might not be a great game but chillax brothers!

no, from what i can see they have made a childrens game out of LOTR. now im not a big LOTR fan but i know good potential for a good game when i see it and i find it frustrating to see that potential pissed away to cash in on a declining corporate brand

Hahaha! It’s like they’ve lifted the characters from the films/books and plopped into something generic. Oh dear god.

i think ive only played return of the king possibly two towers but return of the king was a bloody brilliant game i played co-op with my brother and it was not bad at all but the point i was trying to make was that these games came right at the start of the film franchise and very little attempt has been made to improve upon them. i know its not going to happen but it would be nice if it did
they could but they wont

jesus!, that looks terrible!
