Sonic Free Riders Gameplay Trailer

SEGA Europe has launched an introduction trailer for its upcoming Kinect exclusive ‘Sonic Free Riders’.  An update on the ‘Sonic Riders’ series, the game demands you control your racer using body movements.  From looking at the trailer I’m fairly sure my old, decrepit body won’t be able to keep up.

  1. I can’t wait till Americans get hold of Kinect, there will be so many lawsuits flying about.. “Sonic Riders and Kinect made me lean backwards in an awkward position and now my back is fecked. Give me a bazillion bucks!”

    • Microsoft Bundle for America:
      1 x Xbox Slim
      1 x Kinect
      1 x Defibrillator

      $999

      Kerching!

      • Looking like a prat priceless.

      • Certainly would look a bit of a prat, the only way they could make it more ridiculous is doing something similar whilst holding a sex toy in each hand

      • Or both at the same time.

  2. its missing something…… you need to be holding something, or standing on something

  3. wow… i’d have to say i can see now why kinect has a review embargo manned by 1001 lawyers…

this looks like something what done come out the back of an horse when it lifts its tail.

get to try it soon but can’t really see the wii crowd bending backwards like young neo there.. you are the controller, and as such are required to put your body into the most unnatural of positions to be picked up by fairly naff gesture recognition routines.

  4. So when’s the Hoverboard accessory coming?

    • and does it hover?

    • It looks hard enough just standing on solid ground! =)

  5. You won’t be playing that for too long! It’s exhausting just watching it…

  6. Is it just me or does this looks a lot like Eye Toy AntiGrav?

  7. Look ridiculous and experience severe discomfort so you can rest your thumbs for a bit. The future is truly upon us.

  8. Had to login after many months just to comment this:
This is the stupidiest thing (VG related) I have ever seen in my life.
