Burnout Crash! Trailer

EA have delivered a trailer for Burnout Crash!, the cartoon-ish spin off from the well respected racer.

As expected it features cars crashing – less unexpected are the lightning strikes, tornadoes and missiles.

It still looks a bit iPhone-y to me, there doesn’t seem to be much to the ‘flame’ animation and I do hope the screen doesn’t zoom in and out all the time as the trailer implies.

Burnout Crash! will arrive on the PSN and XBLA later this month. Have a look for yourselves, what do you think of the new Burnout?

  1. Stupid. Destined to fail. Put this on ios/android. Will sell like hotcakes. For the consoles just rerelease burnout 2 point of impact HD. Boom sold.

  2. Whether it will be fun or not is one thing but it will be so overly priced when it hits the store. It’s just such a disappointment when you see Burnout in the title then you see the screens/video.

  3. Wonder how much extra we are paying just for the Burnout tag!

  4. With this being EA I can see an iphone port in the near future (if that hasn’t already been announced)

  5. Looks fun better than PAIN lol
But I still can’t believe what Criterion was thinking =/
Again depening on the price for me, maybe in 4months time (it will be cheaper on PS Plus discounts)

  6. well that look rubbish, looks like some of the games I have on my phone. Very disappointed, me and my other half loved the crash mode in the older burnouts. We use to play them for hour trying to out do the other one.
I cant see us getting this, looks cheap….

  7. Loving how this is shaping up. Like a hybrid of the classic Amiga game, Supercars, with the crashes from Burnout.

It’s only meant to be a little PSN/XBLA title. Nothing more, nothing less. People are getting so angry online and it really is there as another title to enjoy… not to replace any future disc-based/full-blown Burnout titles.

    • For me at least, it is more the lost potential. The crash mode in the old games was my favourite mode, and hearing they were releasing a game dedicated to it was quite exciting. But as you said, it has turned out to be a little PSN title, which is disappointing.

  8. Looks fun, perhaps not what I was hoping for (I’d rather have crash mode included in a full-blown, “grownup” Burnout), but putting that aside and judging it by it’s own apparent merit, I reckon it’s a game I’d buy.
