Tomb Raider might have been delayed but it looks like it was for good reason – the game’s taken a few new directions and is looking like being a real contender.
The videos on this page showcase the game’s platforming, hunting and exploration, but it’s worth mentioning the new skill system, which looks like it has been really well implemented.
They do lack the bite of the main section the developers have been showing off for a year, but it’s good to see some new areas and the visuals are really impressive.

Not sure why every game feels the need to have XP though, particularly a single-player survival/puzzle/adventure game.

Cannot wait. I’m a huge fan of the series but, aside from Anniversary, I haven’t played a truly stunning TR game since TR2 back all those years ago. That looks set to change this March :D
