RaiderZ Dev Diary Outlines Class System

In its second developer diary for upcoming monster-hunting MMORPG, RaiderZ, Perfect World Entertainment has gone out of its way to demonstrate how the game’s class system will operate.

In true MMO fashion players will start life as one of four professions, being able to choose between the Defender, Berserker, Sorcerer, or Cleric, each one filling the traditional character archetypes of tank, melee DPS, ranged DPS, and healer.

Set in a world overrun with once-dormant creatures of immense power, RaiderZ has been likened to Capcom’s insanely-popular Monster Hunter franchise, and with good reason.

Up to four players will wade into combat against huge enemies, success hinging on whether a team can read the attack patterns and support each other; what’s more, it’s all in real-time, none of this ability queuing nonsense.
