Win NASCAR The Game: 2011

NASCAR The Game: 2011 hit the EU PSN store last week, and to celebrate the launch outside of the US we’ve been able to source a trio of PSN codes to give away to you guys!

Despite the pretty tempting £8/€10 price point, this game is overloaded with content. There’s two full seasons of racing from 2010 and 2011, with races taking part with up to 43 cars on track, all battling their way to the finish line. The game covers every aspect of the sport, from tyre wear, fuel consumption and a dynamic Spotter voice over to help you stay in the race, all the way to bump drafting, realistic damage modelling and car wrecks.

There’s also split screen multiplayer on offer, and you can take it online in 16 player lobbies, racing as a real NASCAR driver or bringing your own custom liveries with you.

I asked Jambo for a quote that would really capture the essence of the game, and he said, “NASCAR: The inverse Zoolander of racing games.” He then proceeded to explain his witticism, but I won’t repeat that here, because that would completely ruin the joke.

So, what more can you want to know? To win one of the three codes that we have to give away, all you need to do is leave a comment down below (the wittier the better) before 6PM BST tomorrow, Tuesday 24th of July. At that point we’ll pick the three winners at random, and be in touch via the email address attached to your TSA account.

This competition is open to almost all countries covered by SCEE. There are, however, a few places without the game right now, so this requires you to have a PSN account from one of the following list countries that can win:

Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Oman, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, UAE, and UK.

Our decisions are final and the usual terms and conditions apply.

So get commenting and good luck!

    Witty enough?

  3. Neat competition, I bought the game last Wednesday with the store update and it’s not a bad game….certainly not a AAA racer but it’s enjoyable. The short career is nicely laid out with invitationals (like challenges) unlocking as you progress.
Of the 27 tracks there are 24 Ovals, 1 triangle? (Pocono) and 2 road courses by way of Infineon and Watkins Glen, so you’ll need the stick working prperly to be able to turn right as well :P
Online is a bit pish with randoms as they have a limited grasp of the slipstream = faster car coming up….stop fucking weaving all over the place concept!
Good luck to entrants anyway ;)

*Don’t enter me in the competition btw*

  4. Just as a quick aside, this game was released last year in America and is only now making it out elsewhere. The next game, NASCAR the Game: Inside Line is out in America on 6th November, no word on an EU release yet though.

Just wanted to explain to those confused by it being a 2011 game.

    • Yeah, it’s only been available for import since release, and at pretty astranomical prices…..even now still Amazon want £50 for retail import :O

      • maybe even “astronomical”

      • Amazon aren’t going to get many more EU PS3 sales haha.

  5. I’d love to win NASCAR . Making a left turn for home!
