Development of Gears of War: Judgement, the fourth in the series, is well underway. Unfortunately, the Polish studio working on Epic’s biggest franchise has lost a number of key creative staff members this week. People Can Fly has seen the departure of Adrian Chmielarz, Andrzej Poznanski and Michal Kosieradzki.
Chmielarz is cited as a Creative Lead and the departure of two other members of the development team at the same time hints at some sort of collaborative effort for their next project but that will be revealed in due course.
It all seems very amicable, with Epic Games president Mike Capps wishing them all the best and paying tribute to the “instrumental” role they played in making People Can Fly the studio it is today in an official statement and Chmielarz asserting that Judgement is in “great hands” via his twitter feed.
