Lucas Arts has revealed a new trailer for Star Wars 1313.
The video contains a fair amount of cut scenes but does show quick glimpses of game play.
So far, the title has only been seen running on high end PCs and no formats have been announced. However, the weekly PlayStation video show ‘Access’ has featured the game so it’s a pretty safe bet that Star Wars 1313 will be appearing on a Sony console.
Probably a console with a ‘4’ in the name.

WOW that looks mediocre. All the glimpses of gameplay just seem to show cover shooting and nothing else…at least have something new. Cover shooting has been over-used this gen already.

Considering there isn’t even a release date (that I’m aware of anyway) for this game and that this is essentially little more than a teaser trailer, that making judgements on what the game is going to play like is a bit premature

Premature, perhaps, but ALL they’ve shown so far is cover shooting, even in the original gameplay demo. The point of an early trailer is to gather interest in something, and therefore it should show a unique mechanic to the game in order to differentiate it from every other third-person shooter on the market.

music sounds like Prometheus…looks alright but you can’t tell with those glimpses what the game looks like

the city goes down for miles on Coruscant doesn’t it?
just imagine the logistics of running a place like that.
no agriculture or manufacturing, everything has to be imported.
i’d love to see a game, or series of games set during the Vong invasion, Coruscant was taken by the Vong and they released all these metal eating organisms, because they believe any non organic technology is an abomination.
if i recall by the time the series ended something like 365 trillion people had died in the Star Wars galaxy.
some of the more notable being Chewbacca, Admiral Ackbar and a few others, but i don’t wanna spoil those for anybody who has yet to read the New Jedi Order series.
anyway, the game could be good, i do like a decent cover based shooter, the game looks to fulfill half of that, the second half, the other half remains to be seen. ^_^
