Ah, the old “unnamed source”. We’ve been expecting you. Come in, sit down. Kick off your shoes, take a biscuit and dribble some totally unsupported nonsense in our direction.
This time, it’s reports from a website called Se7ensins that claim, amidst barely legible English, to have a top secret undercover source in Neversoft. That studio, you might remember, has already been mentioned as a support studio on the Call of Duty franchise. Well, it seems like they’re being trusted with the Modern Warfare brand and actually developing the whole thing, if our friendly leak is to be believed.
The mysterious source says “It’s another MW game. There’s something called, ‘Drone Survaillance’. They’re working on ‘HALO’ jumps (High Altitude; Low X.) There is a level under ice. There is cloaking tech. Somethin called a ‘Dominator UAV’.” All of which sounds very plausible, if totally without evidence. Also, and beware of this massive spoiler, I’m not sure there was much room for a sequel left at the end of Modern Warfare 3, was there?
So, Modern Warfare 4 with plenty of Ghost Recon Future Soldier mixed in, UAVs and an under-ice section. What do you think?

I dont think iv heard of or played a nervesoft game in ages, that or they changed their logo from the eye getting pierced by a nail to something generic that i dont notice anymore.

Think the last title i played of theirs was a GH title if i recall.

This sounds like a leak for Black Ops II. How odd.

I wish they’d stick at two devs tops. The overall quality, phyics, art style & sound, vary so much from one installment to the nxt. You never know what your handing your cash over for. eg. 1yr it’s tinny sound, the next meaty. MW3 even down graded MW2s’ art style, sound & map layout.
This autumn we’re back to tinny, as the sound is the same as Bops, the one consistency, I don’t want. I say consistency, but atm any is only every second yr. Hey why not throw another studio in, that’s now a total of five. Gives COD Moshpit mode, a whole new meaning.
I was a devoted fan after MW1, but this strategy is killing the series for me.
