An image in a thread on Reddit appears to show a full colour version of Grand Theft Auto V’s map, possibly taken from a strategy guide, complete with points of interest.
It seems as though there’s a lot of empty space in comparison to the size of the city, which is quite interesting. Let’s hope that Los Santos and Blaine County manages to feel alive and bustling rather than a bit of a wasteland.
GTA V releases in one week, on September 17th, for PS3 and Xbox 360. If you want the game but can’t quite justify parting with your money, then we might have something for you later today.
Update: Rockstar requested that the image be removed from TSA, and we complied.

IGN has a 3D map of Los Santos, you can zoom in/out and rotate.

I welcome more countryside areas – not a fan of spaghetti-junction road layouts – but that seems like a helluva lot of green, although it should lead to some quite varied missions. And of course not forgetting the underwater area you can also explore, and there’s a good smattering of little islands but whether they will be accessible or not we’ll have to wait and see. Can’t wait!

there seem to be a hell of a lot of islands in the GTA version of the states, is the whole country one big archipelago?
anyway, i hope that’s real, because that looks suitably expansive.
plenty of countryside to cruise through.
still hoping they’ve remembered to make the series fun again.
