Over the last week sales for games has dropped 10% in units sold, with this being attributed to the very warm weather and the start of the summer holidays. It’s around this period game sales do go down a bit due to the lack of big new titles hitting the shelves. As a result Watch Dogs has managed to hang on to the number one spot. FIFA 14 & Call of Duty: Ghosts round off the top three.
One of the biggest jumps this week sees Mario Kart 8 return to the top 10 from 16th last week, but other than that the familiar faces of Titanfall, Wolfenstein and Minecraft sit in the higher echelons of the grid.
