During Tokyo Game Show it was announced that those who purchase Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will receive a downloadable demo for Final Fantasy XV, titled Episode Duscae. Now Square Enix has revealed some more information about what players will be able to do in that demo, as well as how long it will last. The first major point is that the name Duscae refers to the region in the game where the demo is set, where players will experience early iterations of gameplay ideas.
It was also announced that players will have the option to walk everywhere or use vehicles, and various dungeons will be explorable. All in all Square Enix expects the demo will last three hours, and that’s if you choose to use vehicles to get around. There won’t be boss fights included, though there will be something special in store for demo players. It was also announced that the company expects the demo to look better than the footage above, as that is running at around 70% to 80% of what Square Enix is aiming for.
