New Rhythm Heaven Tapping And Sliding Onto 3DS, Features 100 Minigames

Among many of the announcements made in today’s Japanese Nintendo Direct, one of the biggest info drops was the fact that a new Rhythm Heaven game is finally coming out. The new game is described as a compilation of past Rhythm Heaven games. It features minigames from Rhythm Heaven on the Nintendo DS and Rhythm Heaven Fever on the Wii, as well as the Japanese-only Game Boy Advance release Rhythm Tengoku. In total, there are expected to be over 70 revisited minigames in the new release. Thankfully, though, we’re still going to be getting a hefty amount of new Rhythm Heavenly minigames to enjoy, as the new title will also feature over 30 brand new minigames, bringing the total to a nice and chunky 100+.

More info is expected later into the year. An English release hasn’t been mentioned yet, but given the popularity of the series outside of Japan, we should expect to hear about it soon.
