Mighty No.9 Releasing From 15th September, With Retail Release Confirmed For PS4

Keiji Inafune’s Mighty No.9, a game that looks very similar to the designer’s Mega Man games, has now got a firm release date of September 18th in Europe, while North America gets in on the action September 15th. Deep Silver has been named as the publishing partner which means that Mighty No.9 will be getting a physical release on some platforms, including the PS4. There is also confirmation that Japanese voice overs will be available in the final product.

All the physical editions will contain the Abandoned Lab stage DLC, where Ray will be a playable character. Those who backed the game’s Kickstarter will receive this content for free regardless of platform or type. There are 12 missions in the single player campaign, New Game+, & challenge and boss rush modes. Online will feature two player race battles, where players compete to get through stages as fast as possible. There will also be a co-op mode to tackle challenges.

In terms of pricing Mighty No.9 will cost $19.99/£14.99 for digital, while the physical release will be £24.99/$29.99. Mighty No.9 will be releasing on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Wii U, 3DS, Mac & Linux.  A Vita release is also coming but will follow after the initial launch date.
