There’s been a really good vibe surrounding Destiny this past few weeks, and while House of Wolves’ announcement might not have been quite what everyone was expecting, it’s certainly given the game a shot in the arm. Last week’s 1.2.0 patch brought with it a few assassination bounties, as Petra Venj visited the tower for only the second time, and these new world events gave us just a tiny taster of what’s yet to come.
The rest of House of Wolves – and the chance to redeem all those blasted engrams you’ve picked up – has had to wait until Bungie could roll out of bed and get into work on the US West Coast today, but the wait is finally at an end and you can now visit the Vestian Outpost in the Reef.
Tuffcub and I will be streaming some of the expansion later this evening, so if you’re not indulging in the new content yourself, keep an eye out for that and tune in.
