Minecraft Is Now Heading To Wii U

Mojang has announced that Minecraft will soon grace Nintendo’s Wii U as the IP’s quest for world domination continues. Minecraft Wii U edition is going to be go live on the eShop from December 17th, with a cost of $29:99, with other regions getting the equivalent price. This release of Minecraft will include the six of the popular add on packs, as well as pack to celebrate the Christmas season.

Minecraft will be supporting off screen gaming, so you can use the GamePad instead of a TV or monitor to play the Wii U edition. As with the other versions of the game Minecraft Wii U edition will get free updates.
