Cobalt Arrives On Xbox & PC On February 2nd

It’s been a good few years since we first heard about Cobalt, a 2D platform shooter developed by Oxeye Game Studio in collaboration with Mojang, who are publishing the game. First released as a buyable Alpha for PC, it was eventually announced at Gamescom in 2013 that it would be coming to Xbox consoles as well.

That long development process is very nearly at an end, after one last delay announced back in October, and the game will now be releasing on February 2nd. Those who own the game already via Steam will get the final version for free, with additional modding tools for users to create their own levels and share them on Steam Workshop, but all versions will have the full Adventure, which can be played co-operatively, and a handful of competitive online modes as well.
