Toho and Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan has confirmed that there is Godzilla experience coming to PSVR, but a release outside of Japan has not been confirmed. It is a free demo and will launch on October 13th alongside the headset, so if you have a Japanese PSN account you should be able to download it. It doesn’t look like players will take on the role of Godzilla, but instead confront the beast which will appear as 118.5 metres tall.
Toho has confirmed that the 3D CG data from the Shin Godzilla movie will be used to model the creature in the VR experience.
