DreamSail Games has confirmed that its multiplayer robot brawler Blade Ballet will be releasing on August 9th for PS4 and Steam. Originally Blade Ballet was thought to be out in Spring, but it appears the team needed more time to add the final touches. DreamSail has said that Blade Ballet is a game which is welcoming to players, but requires a bit of time to master the way each robot battles.
There is some story to Blade Ballet with the game world being set millions of years in the future where humans are extinct and robots rule. However the robot society is facing a population crisis as new robots are created in their thousands each day. To help combat this the old robots must fight to the death at the end of their lifetimes so their parts can be used again.
