Koei Tecmo has confirmed that it will be releasing Toukiden 2 in the Americas and Europe at some point in 2017. The title was released earlier this year in Japan for PS4, PS3, and Vita, though Koei Tecmo has not confirmed which versions of the games will be available in the West. The original Toukiden released just for Vita in the West while Toukiden: Kiwami, an expanded version of the original, was made available for both PS4 and the Vita.
Along with the announcement a short anime scene was released, with the events in it taking place prior to the situations within Toukiden 2.
