In the middle of last year there was confirmation that Tokyo Xanadu would be a game that would be localised for the West, though time periods weren’t really announced. Today Aksys Games has confirmed Tokyo Xanadu will release for both PS Vita and the PS4, but these releases will be staggered. The Vita version of the game will be coming over first and will release in the summer, while in winter the PS4 version, known as Tokyo Xanadu EX+, will be released. The EX+ is an updated version of Tokyo Xanadu.
Along with a standard release there will be two collectors editions, one for the Vita and the other for PS4. Both will feature copies of the game, a 60 page artbook, soundtrack CD, Blade card game deck and collector’s box. They differ on the character content. The Vita version has a 5″ deluxe Morimaru plush, while the PS4 version will include a 9″ deluxe White Shroud statue.
