I’ve not been to a video game music concert so far, but given how I’ve spent almost as much time listening to Breath of the Wild’s soundtrack as I have been playing the game – sometimes I mute the game and just listen to the music on my phone – I might try to go and see the latest orchestral tour.
Symphony of the Goddesses returns for 2017, going back and forth across North America with occasional trips further afield. You can see the full tour and booking options here, with 47 dates that go right through to the end of the year. For those of us in the EU, the important dates are:
16-April | Birmingham, UK | The NEC |
22-July | Vienna, VA | Wolf Trap Center for the Arts |
21-November | London, UK | Eventim Apollo |
24-November | Düsseldorf, DE | Mitsubishi Electric Halle |
25-November | Barcelona, ES | Auditori Fòrum – CCIB |
26-November | Firenze, IT | Nelson Mandela Forum |
The concert might be familiar to anyone that’s attended a concert in the past, but they’re adding Breath of the Wild to a repertoire and symphonic arrangement that spans all the eras of Zelda games.
