Microsoft has announced that Halo Wars Definitive Edition will be available as a standalone title from April 20th, meaning you don’t have to purchase Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition to get it. The remaster of Halo Wars will be releasing on Xbox One and PC through both the Windows 10 store and Steam. The game will be a Play Anywhere title so if it is purchased on Windows Store or Xbox One the other copy will be available too.
Halo Wars Definitive Edition will have achievements on all platforms and will also have a server browser where games can be created and hosted for other players to find. A price is to be confirmed.
