Hot on the heels of its free anniversary weekend, Blizzard is rolling out a new map for multiplayer shooter, Overwatch.
PTR update 1.12 is now available, introducing some hero balances as well as a new playable map: the Horizon Lunar Colony.
Anyone who’s been keeping up with Overwatch lore will know this is where Winston was raised. However, the scientists that once occupied this colony disappeared when his fellow primates went on a rampage.
Horizon is the newest Assault map and, according to Jeff Kaplan, will lend itself towards tense attack/defence scenarios thanks to it high ground vantage points.
As ever, this new update seeks to balance the game’s cast of heroes. The most notable changes in PTR 1.12 come from McCree and Reaper. In a nutshell, McCree’s ultimate now has a quicker start-up while Reaper base attacks restore his health, replacing health orbs dropped by dead enemies.
