Everyone loves a bit of paper pushing, and some of the biggest news for Destiny 2 right now amounts of to a spot of scheduling bother, as Activision announced when console betas are coming and when the PC version of the game is set to release.
While those at E3 can already play the game, if you’re stuck at home, then betas are on the way, and pre-ordering the game in order to gain early access to the console betas. These start at 10AM PDT (6PM BST) on 18th July for PlayStation 4 and 10AM PDT (6PM BST) on 19th July for Xbox One. No pre-oder? Then it will open up to all console players at 10AM PDT (6PM BST) on 21st July. Play as much as you fancy before it concludes at 9PM PDT on 23rd July (5AM BST on 24th July).
Getting no love in July, the PC beta is then planned for late August with more details to follow. That’s partly because the PC version of the game is lagging behind the console version and it will actually release on 24th October, while console gamers can get a hold of the game on 6th September.
Meanwhile, the exclusive content for PlayStation 4 owners was revealed in the Sony press conference.
