Fatshark has officially announced Warhammer: Vermintide 2, a follow-up to its popular co-op title set within the Games Workshop universe. A full reveal is planned via the studio’s Twitch stream on October 17th.
According to CEO, Martin Wahlund, the original game sold over 1.5 million copies, debuting on PC before making the leap to consoles. Vermintide 2 will likely follow the same release pattern though Fatshark has yet to confirm which consoles will feature its Skaven-slaying sequel.
Beyond some technical issues and loot-grinding, Vermintide was a great co-op romp that fans of Left 4 Dead will certainly warm towards.
