Worms WMD might have released and made a big deal of its inclusion of vehicles, turrets, crafting and buildings to spice up the formula, but what made it really stand out compared to the last decade of games was a return to the fully 2D art. That old and familiar gameplay is now worming its way onto Nintendo Switch, Team17 announced today, with a release set for the last few months of this year.
The Switch edition of the game wraps up the main game with the content added post release, which included Liberation and Forts mode. You’ll also get a brand  new Space theme, new Mushroom and Tree forts and more customisation items for your gang of invertebrates.
