Fatal Bullet Is a little bit different to the other Sword Art Online games. Yes, it’s still a faux MMO in a single player game, but instead of a fantasy JRPG-like setting, this is mimicking grand online shooters. Bandai Namco have announced that the game is out for PS4, Xbox One and PC on 23rd February next year.
Further to that, there’s some new details about the game. For example, the player is granted a special weapon with ArFA-Sys which allows them to throw a grappling hook of sorts and reach vantage points in the battlefield. You can play “offline” and “online” solo or with a party of four, and limited control over the rest of your party, and alongside Kirito, Asuna and Sinon, new characters will join the crew, including Yuuki, Strea, LLenn and Pitohui from Alternative Online Gun Gale.
