Final Fantasy XV is a game that Square Enix seems to be keen to push as much as possible, what with a new Royal Edition that adds more content and also a mobile version of the RPG. While things have been more quiet on the mobile front we do know that Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition is hitting both iOS and Android devices, but a release date wasn’t officially announced.
Now Engadget has spotted an App Store listing that states the game will be released on February 9th, with the first episode being free. After that you can either buy the whole lot for $19.99, or purchase individual episodes with prices ranging between $0.99 to $3.99. The difference between the console/PC version and the mobile version is that the visual design has been pared back to suit lower powered devices.
Square Enix is yet to confirm the date.
