No, Elder Scrolls Online isn’t heading off to the West Country, it’s instead taking you to Summerset, the island home of the High Elves, revisiting a locale that hasn’t featured in an Elder Scrolls game since its 1994 debut The Elder Scrolls: Arena.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset is out for PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on 5th June.
After Queen Ayrenn decrees that Summerset Isle is now open to foreigners, just as it comes under threat from the Daedric, you can head to this new island, explore, gind allies, uncover a conspiracy that threatens Tamriel and much more. A new skill line from the Psijic Order will feature, and there’s the new jewelry crafting to tuck into as well.
Importantly, Bethesda say that this will have content for new and veteran players, thanks to the chapter structure and level-scaling. In other words, you can head in and find a challenge whether you’re level one or have maxed out your character, and everyone can play together. Alternatively, you can play right now, with a free play event on all platforms that lets you play the base game content up until 27th March.
