2018 is a big year for Milestone and their variety of racing series, as they complete their jump from their crusty old in house game engine over to the swanky graphical prowess of Unreal Engine 4. MotoGP 18 is effectively a reboot of the series, with Milestone also taking the opportunity to bring a new physics model to the series.
The game will release on 7th June for PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC, while a Switch version of the game will follow shortly after.
Of course, they didn’t decide to showcase the game’s many improvements on this occasion, instead going for some close up shots of bike parts and some amusingly dramatic voiceover work. They have, however, shared a gallery of screenshots that you’ll find below.
Beyond that, this game sees the return of the MotoGP eSport Championship, growing from mini-championship of last year into something more well rounded. The inaugural esport championship featured six online qualifying challenges, leading to a grand final in Valencia that was broadcast across the world. Expect this year’s tournament to be even more ambitious.
