Kratos’s Nordic adventure remains unbeaten at the top of the UK charts, enjoying a fifth week at the top. That’s despite another 35% dip in sales week on week, and if you take each week-on-week decline into account, its sales volume is just 13% of what it was at launch.
With that in mind, it’s simply down to having no real competition over the course of the last month. The only new release was Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch, which entered the charts in third behind FIFA 18. Hyrule Warriors’ sales were half those of the game’s first release on Wii U, but Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze also continued to place well in fourth.
A bunch of games jumped up after sales promotions surrounding LetsPlayMay, but expect things to be a little bit more exciting this coming week. We’ll see the release of Detroit: Become Human, State of Decay 2 and Dark Souls Remastered, so place your bets now!
Here’s the top ten from the UKIE/GfK retail charts:
|1||1||God of War|
|NE||3||Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition|
|2||4||Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze|
|3||5||Far Cry 5|
|7||6||LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2|
|8||7||Assassin’s Creed Origins|
|6||8||Mario Kart 8: Deluxe|
|9||9||Grand Theft Auto V|
|16||10||Call of Duty: WWII|
