Where This Is the Police starred a Police Chief coming to an abrupt end to his career in the big city, there’s a new sheriff in town for the sequel, and her job starts next month. THQ and Weappy have announced today that This Is the Police 2 will release on 2nd August for PC, with releases for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch later this autumn.
Sheriff Lilly Reed needs to take much more direct control in the smaller town of Sharpwood. The game features a new turn-based combat system where you have to carefully move and adapt, whether trying to take someone in with non-lethal weapons, bartering or going in guns blazing – don’t forget you’re meant to try and take suspects in. Just beware that a single bullet will end a career. Permanently.
