Even if you have been keeping tabs on this game, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr’s has been delayed often enough that it’s bound to be rather confusing. Originally set for release in May, it was pushed back to 5th June, which is when the PC version of the game did actually manage to release, but that came at the expense of the PS4 and Xbox One release, which was further delayed until ‘summer’. Finally, it has a firm console release date set for 23rd August digitally, and on 24th August for a physical release.
Hopefully Neocore are able to lavish the game with more polish, even compared to the final game on PC. After a confusing mess with our review, Jason awarded the game a 7/10, saying:
The dark aesthetic and relatively messy combat will likely turn those who aren’t fans of Warhammer 40,000 away, but if you do like the universe and have people to play with, then the procedural generation and promise of ongoing support means that this is a game you can sink plenty of time into.
