The adventures of Ni no Kuni 2’s boy king are set to continue next month, with the Adventure Pack announced for release on 9th August. This DLC is the first of a few expansions coming to the game, but where the others will be part of the season pass, the Adventure Pack is a free addition.
It’s designed to add extra challenge to the game for experienced players, adding extra floors to the Faraway Forest which will reward you with new costumes for Evan and other characters. There’s also two new, even more challenging bosses called Blackhart and Zeta, as well as quests to take on for those that have completed the game.
This will be followed in the winter with a new puzzling dungeon full of challenges and powerful enemies, while the third DLC won’t appear until 2019, but will expand the story at that point.
