There’s a little surprise for Switch owners tucked away in Focus Home Interactive’s financial report for the last six months, as they briefly stated that Vampyr would be coming to Nintendo’s handheld.
In Q3, the Group will continue to maximise the potential of the Vampyr licence. After the game’s impressive success on PC, Xbox One and PS4, it will be Nintendo Switch’s turn to welcome the DontNod title to reach an even wider audience.
The report pertains to the 2018/19 fiscal year, with H1 running from April to September. That does make the statement feel a touch confusing as it seems to imply that the game will come to Switch in Q3, which would be be October through December. Of course, they could mean that they’ll more formally announce it within this quarter, as opposed to actually release it in this busy period with little fanfare. On the other hand, there’s been a fair few announcement and immediate releases in Nintendo Directs, so it’s possible!
