The Overwatch roster is set to get just that little bit bigger with the reveal of a new character for the popular hero shooter. Except this one isn’t a hero by any stretch of the imagination. Ashe is the ringleader of the Deadlock Gang.
Being cast as a ‘gunslinger’, you might want to draw comparisons to McCree, but she plays very, very differently. Ashe wields The Viper rifle, which can be shot automatically or aimed down sights for more precision, but she can also use her Coach Gun to repel enemies away from her or herself up into the sky. When guns won’t do the trick, she can resort to chucking sticks of dynamite at enemies, or call on B.O.B. for her ultimate. B.O.B. is an omnic sidekick that rushes forward, knocks enemies in his path into the air, and then lays suppressing fire.
