Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Goes Free-To-Play And Gets Battle Royale

Why jump on to one bandwagon when you can jump on two, my mother always used to save, and Valve have followed her sage advice by throwing a Battle Royale mode in to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and making the whole game free to play at the same time.

The Royale mode, Danger Zone, has one map called Blacksite and you can play solo, duos, or as a group of three. However, there’s only eighteen players per match and they only last ten minutes, so it’s a rather small Royale compared to other games.  All the weapons from the main game are available in the new mode and you also get an in game tablet which allows you to track opponents’ positions.
