The latest madcap VR game from Owlchemy Labs is Vacation Simulator, taking the silly robots from Job Simulator on holiday. It’s coming to SteamVR and Oculus stores really soon on 9th April, but PlayStation VR’s mini-break is coming a bit later on 18th June.
Owlchemy made a name for themselves with Job Simulator back in 2016, which released alongside all the major VR platforms, before then continuing their adventures in bonkers VR stuff with Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality. Vacation Simulator keeps that same spirit, but looks to enhance the emergent gameplay based around taking appliances in-game and using them in new and slightly unintended ways. The waffle maker, for example, makes pretty much anything into a waffle, whether it starts off as a food item or not.
We can’t wait for this silly holiday sim later this year.
