Multiple reports on both Reddit and the official Gearbox forums are claiming that online co-op for the recently released Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition has problems. Some people manage to connect with their pals but the session drops, others are finding it impossible to connect at all.
A post on the official forums states that “Gearbox and 2K are aware of the problems that players are having and we are actively working on a solution,” so hopefully it will be resolved soon.
Some people are claiming that by using port forwarding on your router gets things up and running, but that seems like a lot of faff and you’re probably best waiting for Gearbox to fix the game.
