A fair few people have been enjoying Team Sonic Racing over the bank holiday weekend, as the latest Sonic kart racer headed into turn 1 in first place. Though it wasn’t the critical darling that its 2012 predecessor was, Team Sonic Racing sold more than double the copies that Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed managed.
That was easily enough to beat last week’s chart topper, Rage 2, whose sales dropped 73% week-on-week. Days Gone and FIFA 19 also had smaller drops, but were able to hold onto 2nd and 3rd because of it.
Elsewhere, Everybody’s Golf VR will surely have done most of its business in digital form, and so was only good enough to enter the charts in 22nd place, while the Switch release of Assassin’s Creed III Remastered bumped that game up to 15th.
