The Baldur’s Gate series may be considered among the top RPG franchises since it first arrived back in 1998 with the original game being developed by BioWare. Since then there have been a few expansions and sequels from Baldur’s Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast, Baldur’s Gate II, the spin-offs of the Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance games, and then the enhanced editions of Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate II, along with the last expansion of Siege of Dragonspear.
What you’ll notice in that list is the lack of Baldur’s Gate III. Well, that may soon be changing. Larian Studios’ website has been taken over by a III symbol, and though the studio could be working on Divinity Original Sin 3, there were rumours that Larian was involved with Baldur’s Gate III though they denied it. However, Twitter user Kunken has given instructions to follow the metadata of the teaser site to references Baldur’s Gate III.

I’ve followed the instructions and found the references myself. Maybe Larian are absolutely trolling or we’re about to see a new entry in the Baldur’s Gate franchise. More information will probably come to light at E3.
